The activities are separate from and go beyond the requirements of the Mining Charter in addition to the activities undertaken by our mines in terms of legislation and the Social and Labour Plans (SLPs). All permanent employees of Suri Imperial share equally in any benefits distributed resulting from dividends received from the underlying company.
SURI IMPERAIL is invested to carry out activities and projects in local communities in line with the objectives of the Community.

These focus on making an impact through improving access to healthcare, education, housing and basic services amongst others. Suri Imperial consults with members of the various communities through its community consultative structure to assess what activities are required and are feasible to carry out.
